Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how Quizlivo (“we”) processes personal data of people who use quizlivo.com and its apps, in line with Brazil's LGPD and applicable privacy laws.

1. Data we collect

• Account: email (for passwordless login), username, display name, bio and optional photo.
• Product usage: quizzes played, answers per play, favorites, likes and follows — needed to run the service.
• Technical: an anonymous cookie id, language, device type and IP address (used transiently and hashed for security and abuse prevention; raw IPs are not stored).
• Content you publish: quizzes, images and comments.

2. How we use it

• To provide the service: login, play, compute results, publish and show quizzes.
• Security, fraud prevention and content moderation.
• Aggregated usage metrics to improve the product — creators never see individual answers.
• Personalised recommendations and advertising only with your consent, which you can withdraw anytime.

3. What we don't do

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't use personality-quiz answers for behavioural advertising.
• We don't ask for sensitive data and recommend you don't publish it.

4. Sharing

We share data only with processors that help us run the service (hosting, image storage, email delivery) under contract, or when required by law.

5. Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Usage events and anonymous plays are deleted automatically after the retention period (400 days by default). After an account deletion request, personal data is erased or anonymised within 7 days; aggregated metrics may be kept.

6. Your rights

• Access & portability: Account → Download my data.
• Correction: edit your profile anytime.
• Deletion: Account → Delete account.
• Withdraw consent: change cookie preferences anytime.

7. Teens

Quizlivo may be used by teenagers, so there are no private messages, data collection is minimised, leaderboards only show display names and reporting is easy. Accounts are for people 13 and older.

8. Security

We use HTTPS, secure cookies, permission-based access control and audit logs. Relevant incidents will be reported to authorities and affected users as required by law.
